Ford Lake Project

Highlights

  • Ownership: The Ford Lake Project is 100% owned by Mustang Energy with 90% interest in the Brown Lake Project with Standard Uranium Corp.

  • 3 year exploration permits have been received.

  • Size: 7743 hectares across 4 claims.

  • Location:

    • Close proximity to all-season roads and electrical transmission lines.

    • 2 km off the Fox Lake road and 12 km from the all-season highway between Key Lake Mill and McArthur River Mine.

  • Geological Potential:

    • Project is situated near the margin of the Mudjatik and Wollaston Domains which is associated with numerous deposits.

    • The uranium endowment of the area is proven by the significant deposits of the Key Lake Mine only 15km to the southeast, and less than 30km from Cameco Corp.’s Millennium deposit and Denison Mines Corp.’s Gryphon and Phoenix deposits.

    • Recent CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. high-grade discovery hole at Moon Lake South only 15km to the northeast. Drill hole MS-23-10A contained 8.0 metres at 2.46% U3O8, including 4.5 metres at 3.71% U3O8. (2)

    • The depth to unconformity across the property is estimated to be about 100 to 400 meters.

  • Previous Work:

    • Airborne Magnetics/VTEM survey was conducted by Stallion Uranium in 2023 highlighting the structural features.

Exploration Plan (Next Steps)

1. Data Refinement:

  • Reprocess 2023 VTEM datasets to refine anomalies and validate targets.

2. Geophysical Surveys:

  • Complete combined high-resolution ANT and ground gravity surveys over structural anomalies.

3. Drilling:

  • Initiate maiden drill program of high-priority targets in the project area focusing on structural anomalies.

Overview

The Ford Lake Project is strategically positioned in the Eastern Athabasca Basin, one of the world’s most productive uranium regions, and consists of four claims (including Brown Lake) covering an area of 7,743 hectares. The Project is located 2 km off the Fox Lake road and 12 km from the all-season highway between Key Lake Mill and McArthur River Mine.

The Project is situated near the margin of the Mudjatik and Wollaston Domains which is associated with numerous deposits. The uranium endowment of the area is proven by the significant deposits of the Key Lake Mine only 15km to the southeast, and less than 30km from Cameco Corp.’s Millennium deposit and Denison Mines Corp.’s Gryphon and Phoenix deposits. The recent CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. high-grade discovery hole at Moon Lake is only 15 km to the northeast. The depth to the unconformity on the Ford Lake Project is 100 – 400 meters.

3 year Exploration Permits have been received.

Targets

Extension of the Shift Lake Uranium Zone (Figure 2):

  • >3 km of an unexplored structural magnetic low.

  • The magnetic low lies along trend of the Shift Lake Uranium Zone which hosts mineralized drill hole intercepts.

  • Drill hole 79-017 hosts 0.62% U3O8 over 2.75 m and up to 2.42% U3O8 over 0.75 m. (SMDI# 2031, Union Carbide Exploration, 1979) (3)

  • Associated conductive zones identified from 2023 VTEM survey executed by Stallion Uranium Corp.

  • Shallow depths of ~100 - 300 m to the unconformity.
